Here in Montreal there’s been a lot of airplay of a hit from Suzie Rawn’s album. Suzie was a competitor a few years ago, the year that Melissa O’Neal won. Before she was eliminated I thought she would be one of the final two. I’m proud of her now.
I haven’t been posting in some time. Sorry about that… my older cat (Boots) has been sick for several weeks with jaundice, caused by his liver shutting down.
I’ve been feeding him 4 times a day as a result, but I may be saying goodbye to him soon. He’s lived with me 12 of his 18 years. For a cat that’s a long time; for a human, not long enough.
Mind you, because of this, jazz and reality shows are far from my mind.
I called in sick to work today. I was “lucky” to inherit the migraine gene from mo; when I wake up with one, it’s a good sign that I should stay home.
