Tonight the top competitors for the next stage were picked.
Some cuts weren’t a surprise. The African guy Vincent seemed nice but ultimately he couldn’t sing well.

As many early pundits predicted, it ultimately came down to the two Davids – Archuleta and Cook.
Archuleta sang rings around his opponent. Many people thought he had a win in the bag.
