lets be straight here… Earl was horrible and awkward to boot… and speaking of boots, im happy he finally got his… as for the other three… mitch has the most unique sound out of all the idols and deserves a shot to bring his sound to the music industry… it would be something different (for once) instead of the same old bubble gum crap we always here… but thats just my opinion

At this point all the singers are good or else they would not have been there. I like Theo and Drew. Drew may be the best singer for now and he is so handsome. Theo is sweet. May the best one win.

YES!!!!!!!! Finally Canada and SOME of the judges are getting it right! Thank God Earl has gone. Zack was right when he said he thought that Earl “just didn’t want to be here”, last night. Now vote off Mitch (strange voice) and let Theo and Drew battle it out. I must say though that THEO is the only one that could record ANYTHING in tune (other than Amberley…what a shame she’s gone). Thankyou for the opportunity to vent.

i have just watch the “Canadaian Idol” and I am surprised at the talent. I am a fan of both idol shows. I think Canada has so much talent. The contestants are amazing and seem to me more confident than previous shows. The young men and women this year are excellent. I am so enjoying it so far and the judges comments are fair. I find it hard to pick a winner and will continue to watch with interest.

No need to be insulting. After seeing his biopic Ray I learned that he was a heroine addict in the past. Many (not all, but many) change to cigarettes if they quit, some before. It’s just a matter of changing from one set of poisons to another.

Brother Ray died of liver failure from liver disease. The heroine likely started it; the cigarettes likely made it far worse.

- Oh, and 70-something is not a ripe old age. Some live into their 80s. My mom has friends in their 80s and 90s. One of my friends lived to 87. One of my neighbors (a wonder, granted) lived until a month before his 104th. It’ll never be enough for those left behind, but 70s is too soon.
