The 36 folks for live YV were picked an hour ago. Some were a sure thing: I like Danny Gokey; he reminds me of Joe Cocker without the body tics. Also Scott MacIntyre, who I’d pick as the eventual winner.
A few puzzled me until I guessed they would be cannon fodder: “Nick Gentle” / Norman Whatever is not in any way talented. Tatiana Del Oro… I just kept yelling “Shut up!” at my TV every time she opened her mouth. She’s just been irritating from the moment she was first introduced.
She’ll be in the first group of 12 next week. I have 6 days to steel myself!
