Based on the performance show, Theo Tams should win. Sorry Mitch MacDonald fans, but he was painfully bad on the final performance night.
Outside of jazz, Bread is one of my favorite groups. He slaughtered their song If. That the judges praised the performance makes me wonder if they were just lying.
One funny thing: at first I wondered where Jacob Hoggarth was when Hedley were on… then I realized that he had grown a beard!
Reader Stephen must be happy, since Mitch MacDonald is in the Final Two! I’m still a little surprised that Drew Wright was eliminated last week… I was anticipating him being in the Finals.
I can’t call the winner of tonight’s show of course, since it hasn’t happened yet. Interesting to me though is how I’ve now heard two big local celebrities say how they weren’t impressed at the quality of the competitors this year.
Looks like my guess for the finals was wrong: Earl was eliminated tonight.
That isn’t a huge surprise. He’s been one of the bottom vote getters many times, despite all the praise from the judges.
Now, if Mitch gets cut next week, maybe it will be Theo against Drew Wright in the finals instead.

Like I’ve said before, I don’t like Earl. I suspect it’ll come down to him and Theo Tams, with him the winner (barring surprises)… but I still don’t like him.
As far as who’ll be eliminated tonight, I’m guessing Mitch MacDonald. He didn’t perform well last night.
